Abstract: 
On the basis of new palaeomagnetic data from the NE Europe, the drift of virtual geomagnetic pole throughout the past 13 kyr is calculated. An analysis of the data with respect to palaeotemperature and palaeoclimate phases in N-NE Europe is carried out. The alternation of cold and warm stages as a function of approaching (receding) the virtual geomagnetic pole to Europe is established. The relationship between geomagnetic field disturbances caused by solar activity and atmospheric circulation is confirmed. We conclude that the position of the geomagnetic pole and corpuscular solar radiation have a significant effect on atmospheric circulation in the north hemisphere.
