Abstract:
Wave-like disturbances (WLDs) with periods of 30–120 mill over an altitude range from 125 to 500 km (in some experiments from 100 to 1000 km) are studied. Measurements of common duration more than 400 h are carried out under various conditions of space weather (in conditions of quiet ionosphere, during magnetic and ionospheric storms, during Iwo eclipses of the Sun). It is shown that WLDs in the ionosphere exist practically constantly. The action of natural or artificial sources of energy produces changes in WLDs character, their speclral structure and amplitude variations. The amplitudes vary significantly during a day depending on space weather conditions. The relative amplitudes of WLDs change from units up to many ten percents.
