Abstract:
Using the kinetic and hydrodynamic equations, the properties of kinetic Alfven waves are considered. The analysis and comparison of the results obtained in both approaches. The role and influence of kinetic Alfven waves on the dynamics of processes and phenomena occurring in the Earth’s magnetosphere are analyzed.
