Abstract:
We studied grows processes and photosynthetic apparatus of different healthy and virus infected wheat plants under the conditions of simulating some factors of microgravity on universal clinostat. The clinostat realizes some schemes of reorientation of plants relative to the force of gravity over a vegetative period. A high specificity of wheat streak mosaic virus allows us to recommend the Apogee wheat variety for cultivation in space greenhouses because other spring varieties, Sarativska-29 and Colectyvna-3, did not ear, in contrast to Apogee, over the same period of cultivation. The photosynthetic apparatus of the superdwarf Apogee wheat variety has a high adaptable potential and can carry out its basic function that is life-support and formation of grains by plants.
