Abstract: We describe a universal transporter-erector unit, which was developed at the Yuzhnoye State Design Office. It is designed for transportation, installation, and holding of integrated launch vehicles of light and heavy classes, which are assembled and transported in a horizontal position from the assembly-and-test building to various launch pads along the route without downgrade. The unit was devised to improve the unification and to decrease the number of ground equipment at lowest cost.
