Abstract:
It is shown that two-sector structure of the interplanetary magnetic field developed to multisector one with solar activity increasing. The dependence of geomagnetic activity on the sector structure change is revealed on the basis of middle latitude observatory data.
Keywords: interplanetary magnetic field, sector structure, solar activity
