Анотація: 
Представлений огляд публікацій, які стосуються дослідження фізичних властивостей астероїдів за допомогою космічних апаратів. Розглянуті космічні місії (ОАО-2, IUE, FIRSSE, IRAS, «Hipparcos», HST, ISO, MSX, «Galileo», NEAR, DS1, «Smart-1», «Rozetta» та MUSES-C), в рамках яких проводились та будуть проводитись спостереження астероїдів, та основні результати, що були одержані. Обговорюється доцільність майбутніх досліджень астероїдів за допомогою космічних апаратів.
