Abstract: A technology for increasing the width of very-high resolution satellite synthetic aperture radar swath is considered. The technology consists in using several separate narrow-beam antennas, parallel processing backscattered signals by multichannel transmitter/receiver unit, interpolating sampled signals received by separate antennas and forming accumulated signal at a higher spatial frequency. The technology enables one to increase considerably the swath width for satellite radar with very-high resolution. |
