Abstract:
Full analytic calculations for the coordinates of the four-axis guiding mounting are given. Our computational results for the two-axis and four-axis guiding mountings are compared. Some advantages of four-axis mounting for the guiding of low-orbit Earth artificial satellites are shown. Acceptable values for coordinates and for velocities of their change during a satellite (star) guiding will be used for further modernization of the guiding mounting LD-2 in the Astronomical Observatory of the LNU.
Keywords: four-axis guiding mounting, satellite guiding
