Abstract: 
We describe the arrangement and operation of the photospectral system developed for the use aboard the International Space Station within the framework of the space experiment «Uragan». Our calculations for optical parameters are given. Some results for laboratory testing of the photospectral system as well as for measurements of its characteristics and calibrations are presented.
