Autonomous forming of Earth observation sessions sequence for a maneuverable spacecraft

Abstract: Iterative local search algorithm is proposed, which provides forming of Earth observation sessions sequence with a nearly optimal quality for a limited time and is suitable for an autonomous implementation on-board maneuverable spacecraft. Effectiveness of the algorithm is confirmed by the simulation. Application of the algorithm of iterative local search allows decreasing the overheads caused by obtaining information that is unclaimed by a customer.
