Abstract:

High-porous (86—91 %) optically transparent and gas-penetrating thin-sheet (0.5—1.0 mm, with the density from 0.71 to 1.01 g/cm3) and dense (composition: carbon fiber-reinforced plastic + metal fibres, 1.6—2.5 mm, with the density from 1.05 to 2.07 g/cm3) materials with the screening efficiency from 68.5 to 96.0 dB are produced by various ways of consolidation (sintering, aerosol agglutination, composition with carbon fiber-reinforced plastic) of discrete and continuous austenitic (1X18H9T, a diameter of 10 and 30 μm) and ferritic (St. 10, diameter from 40 to 100 μm) steel fibres. The screening materials obtained can be used to make corps of electronic devices.
