Abstract: 
The article presents an overview of the work of the Commission of the Division of General Physics and Astronomy of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and the Commission on anomalous phenomena of the Academy of Sciences of the UkrSSR in 1980-1990-ies, as well as the conclusions about the anti-scientific nature of most of the facts that were given in letters to the Commissions.
