Generalized scenario for the evolution of solar cycles of weak photospheric and strong magnetic fields

Abstract: 
Based on observational data, the evolution of large-scale solar magnetic fields is studied over three solar cycles and the generalized scenario of the change for solar cycles of weak photospheric and strong (in active regions) fields is determined. It is found that, along with significant differences in the evolution of weak and strong magnetic fields, there is a close relation between their behaviors in the selected strength intervals, when the growth rate of the total field flux is considered as a characteristic for the comparison
