Abstract: 
The iterative method of restoration of complex-structured images was applied to actual space images of the Earth surface with the aim to improve their resolution. The effect of the parameter β on the processing result, was studied. We demonstrate that a compromise should be made between the choice of the parameter β and the number of processing steps.
