Peculiarities of snow cover observations with the side-looking radar of the «Sich-1» satellite

We analyze a possibility to investigate snow cover in the X-band with the side-looking radar of the first Ukrainian satellite «Sich-1». Some results of image processing and recommendations on the snow melting dynamics prediction are presented.
