Abstract: 
Methodological problems of confirming by express methods the characteristic life of space vehicle component systems of long-term functioning are discussed. Approximate expressions are presented for estimating the acceleration coefficients for standard models of failure accumulation, given also are relations for calculating the number and duration of express tests which are to confirm the prescribed requirements on reliability.
