Участь Харківської астрономічної обсерваторії та її представників у радянській космічній програмі у 1960-х роках

Аннотация: 
Стаття присвячена дослідженню документальних фактів  до історії астрономії періоду 60-х років ХХ ст. Її метою є відображення подій, пов’язаних із участю Харківської астрономічної обсерваторії у радянській космічній програмі у визначений період. Розглянуто хронологію залучення харківських астрономів до програм із розробки та функціонування об’єктів «В-67», «Е-7», «Е-8», «Л-3», «М-69»; створення штучного місяцедрому; опрацювання фотографічних матеріалів, отриманих космічними апаратами «Lunar orbiter 2», «Ranger 7», «Surveyor 1», «Луна-9», «Луна-12», «Луна-13» та «Зонд-3». Проаналізовано напрями наукової роботи астрономічної обсерваторії ХДУ імені О. М. Горького за темами «Алтай», «Атлас», «Люкс» та ін.
              З’ясовано основні завдання, які Харківська астрономічна обсерваторія виконувала у 1960-х, пов’язані із проведенням фотометричних досліджень низки деталей зворотного боку Місяця; вивченням фізико-механічних та хімічних властивостей місячних ґрунтів та їх оптичних властивостей; здійсненням фотометричного аналізу визначених ділянок місячної поверхні; виконанням фотометричних розрахунків, необхідних для розробки систем орієнтації автоматичних міжпланетних станцій; з’ясуванням питань освітленості від місячної поверхні.
             Ретро-інформаційні ресурси, які вперше були залучені до розгляду, дозволили відтворити хронологічну послідовність при викладенні подій, пов’язаних із участю університетської обсерваторії у розробці та функціонуванні космічних об’єктів у визначений період; конкретизувати доробок харківських астрономів у радянську програму з освоєння космосу; донести (або уточнити) деякі маловідомі факти.
