Аннотация: 
Приводится обзор методов прогнозирования космической погоды, анализируются их достоинства и недостатки и предлагаются пути дальнейшего развития. В частности, учета крупномасштабной структуры солнечного ветра поможет повысить точность прогноза состояния магнитосферы и ионосферы Земли.
